JOB OPPORTUNITY For Season 2024

Chicks On Waves is looking for a catering Chef from end of April 2024 till first week of July 2024

2 full day off per week
12 € per hour

Tasks
The following tasks are indicative. The final division of weekly tasks will be completed before each
week and further during the season and adjusted on the basis of, among other things, the
occupancy rate and and other staff. Weekly schedule will be adjusted every Friday in case it is
necessary . In total it will be around 20h per week. We have another chef working for us so you
would share the shifts with her.

Shifts from 7.30 am till 2 pm
Make breakfast and breakfast specials
Prepare lunch for take away (surf classes)
Prepare snacks & drinks for guests coming back from surfing
Clean up breakfast together with host
Daily cleaning of the kitchen after cooking
Run breakfast and lunch quality checks

Grocery shopping
Manage the grocery shopping ( check daily)
Keep kitchen organized and clean
Manage and control stocks ( also keep an eye on things that run bad)
Make budget and accounts weekly
Prepare menu with local and seasonal ingredients according to budget

Hosting
Ensuring guest have a perfect, relaxed and a stressless week.
Answering questions of guests

Marketing, communication en administration (additional)
Social media Facebook / Instagram of food served, presentation of breakfast
